Digitain expands into Greek market

digitainListen To Article

Digitain has secured the necessary certifications to operate within the Greek market.

The sportsbook and casino platform provider obtained the A1 Manufacturer’s License from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, allowing it to expand its presence in the regulated European market.

Digitain already holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) in Europe, with this latest one from the Hellenic Gaming Commission allowing it to further expand its presence in Europe.

This follows on from another provider, namely Altenar, securing its B2B licence in the region back in May to operate in Greece, and offer its suite of services in the country for the next seven years.

Big deals have also taken place in recent months in the region, with Light & Wonder signing an agreement with bet365 and Pragmatic Play expanding its collaboration with bet365 in Greece.

Digitain Chief Revenue Officer Iain Hutchison said: “We are delighted that we have attained our B2B license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission. Digitain continues to expand across multiple regulated jurisdictions, and the Greek license is a further example of our vision and that of our teams’ commitment to regulatory compliance and the exemplary standards of our platform technology and focus as a company.

“We look forward to having our award-winning sportsbook and Centrivo platform and much more available within the Greek market as one of continental Europe’s largest and growing regulated markets.”

In other company news, Digitain recently launched its Centrivo CRM platform, aiming to improve player lifecycle management and engagement for operator partners.
