president

Vargas, who joined the company in April 2020, previously spent over six years at DraftKings, developing the company’s marketing and business strategy, before branching out as an independent contractor in the iGaming industry.

In his new role, he will oversee BettorView’s strategy of increasing revenue streams for the upcoming year, growing the company’s market share and expanding its reputation within the industry.

Seth Berger, BettorView Board Member, commented: “Javier has an ability to quickly identify what is important in a business relationship. He wastes no time in his communications and decisions, and his ability to have a long-term vision for BettorView’s growth makes him the perfect President. We as a Board and company are lucky to have him as a partner.”

BettorView is a betting technology provider, and has built its business around delivering gaming solutions to pubs, bars and other hospitality venues. Its patented touchscreen signage provides bettors with a fully digitalised method of wagering, at the same time as viewing sports.

In his former role, Vargas was responsible for growing BettorView’s partnerships within the hospitality industry. Under his tenure, the company expanded its reach to over 1,000 venues across the US.

Seth Schorr, CEO and Co-Founder, BettorView, said: “In the nearly three decades I have worked in the gambling industry, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many great leaders. A true leader has the ability to drive process and people.

“Javier has shown a tremendous ability to excel in both areas. There is no one in whom we have more confidence than Javier to take BettorView to the next phase of success.”

As part of the announcement, BettorView also approved the promotion of Dae Son to Chief Revenue Officer.

Son previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at the company, and has a combined experience of over five years at DraftKings, William Hill and The Action Network.
