Bally’s Corporation lands exclusive partnership with Major League Fishing

The Rhode Island-based gaming and entertainment company has been designated MLF’s exclusive sports betting, daily fantasy sports and free-to-play partner for all tournament circuits in three firsts for professional fishing.

The deal will see Bally’s online sportsbook, Bally Bet, become the title sponsor of MLF’s Angler of the Year award for the Bass Pro Tour, which will also be streamed via the company’s apps.

Two new, free-to-play games will also be launched in conjunction with this agreement. Bally’s will power the MLF Predictor Game and MLF Fantasy Fishing, which will both debut in 2022.

“As we ready for the start of our 2022 season, our partnership with Bally’s will offer our loyal fans and anglers another unique avenue to engage with professional fishing and the Bass Pro Tour,” said MLF President and Chief Exec Jim Wilburn.

“This partnership marks an important moment for Major League Fishing in the growing US gaming and sports betting sectors.”

Bally’s deal with MLF represents its fifth sports betting partnership with a professional sports league, following agreements with the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association, the Women’s National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball.
