EveryMatrix has promoted Mihnea Dobre to the position of Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Dobre, who has been with EveryMatrix for nearly a decade, will lead the company’s technology strategy and operations from Bucharest.
Dobre joined EveryMatrix as Head of Incident Management, where he formed the Technical Support and IT Governance teams, reportedly improving the company’s release and change management processes. Prior to his promotion, he served as the Head of IT Governance, contributing to the leadership team.
In his new role, Dobre will oversee EveryMatrix’s technical development and provide strategic direction to support the company’s business unit CTOs in achieving their objectives.
CEO Ebbe Groes noted: “Working alongside Mihnea for the past eight years has been a pleasure from day one. His appointment as Group CTO is a logical progression, as the company thrives amidst exponential growth, boasting a workforce of more than 1,000 employees.”
This month, the company partnered with Golden Nugget Online Gaming to bring content from Armadillo Studios to players in New Jersey and Michigan. This integration was facilitated through EveryMatrix’s iGaming aggregation solution, SlotMatrix, which provides a variety of slot games to third-party vendors.
EveryMatrix holds licences in six North American territories, including Ontario, Connecticut and West Virginia and recently gained regulatory approval in Pennsylvania. In March, the company launched a market accreditation series in Peru and opened a new headquarters in Bucharest to accommodate over 400 of its staff.
