WPT Global is set to host the Spring Festival – an event that will feature over $7m in guaranteed prizes from 5 May – 26 May.
Key features of the WPT Global Spring Festival include the $500,000 GTD Spring Festival Championship Event and the $150,000 GTD Mini Championship.
Additionally, the festival features the $1m GTD WPT Championship Event, where participants can vie for the prestigious title of World Poker Tour Champion with a $3,500 buy-in.
Multiple satellite opportunities are also available for players to secure their seats in this tournament.
Furthermore, the festival offers a range of bonuses, such as the Champion of Champions Freeroll which grants Spring Festival Champions the chance to win a $12,400 WPT Passport package.
One of the core features of the Spring Festival is the rakeback system. This feature ensures that every penny of rake collected from the events is returned to players.
Rakeback is distributed through Bronze, Silver and Gold tier freerolls, with guaranteed prize pools ranging from $100,000 to $225,000.
In other poker news, it was announced last month that WPT has been selected to host the inaugural Macau event with Allied Gaming & Entertainment and Wynn Resorts – a deal that will see the World Poker Tour being brought to Macau for the very first time.
