The AskGamblers Casino Complaint Service (AGCCS) has released its official ps for 2023, revealing $9m+ recovered across 2,200+ complaints.
These ps also bring the AGCCS’ lifetime ps up to 80,000 complaints handled, with $60m returned to players since the company’s inception. Over the course of 2023, AskGamblers handled a total of 3,239 cases with a 70% resolution rate.
Founded in 2005, AskGamblers acts as a platform for bettors to discuss and review developments in the iGaming community. After integrating into Catena Media, it was then acquired by Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) in 2022, alongside other previously Catena-owned affiliate websites Johnslots.com and Newcasinos.com. The total valuation of the deal settled at $47.9m.
Since that time, Catena has offloaded further assets following some underwhelming financial results at the end of 2023. GiG themselves reported a 37% revenue rise for Q423, reporting $38/1m for the quarter.
General Manager at AskGamblers, Dijana Radunovic, spoke on the AGCCS’ 2023 report – stating: “Every year we break records thanks to the dedication and hard work of our Complaint Team and the trust the players place in us.
“Once again, we saw unprecedented numbers across all our verticals and languages, which confirms that the service is needed across the board. Thank you for allowing us to be your mediator in disputes and we promise to continue working just as diligently as we have thus far.
Last month, GiG also announced new partnerships for its iGaming platform CoreX and sportsbook SportsX in the Spanish and Argentinian markets.
