DraftKings and EveryMatrix strike new partnership in Ontario

Supplier EveryMatrix has announced a new partnership with operator DraftKings, which will see the provision of its casino content to players in the Ontarian market.

As part of the new deal, EveryMatrix is set to provide a range of iGaming titles from its in-house studios through SlotMatrix integration. The supplier is currently moving through a phase of recent North American expansion and is now live across five different US states, after making its debut in both Michigan and New Jersey in May. Earlier in August, the company also extended its Internet Vikings Partnership into West Virginia. And the organisation recently acquired FSB.

Erik Nyman, President, EveryMatrix Americas, said: “EveryMatrix is thrilled to expand our partnership with DraftKings into Canada and the largest province, Ontario. This means we now reach half of the country’s population and marks yet another important milestone for the company. DraftKings is one of the largest iGaming and sportsbook operators in North America and we are one step closer to full market penetration with them.”

For DraftKings, this latest development closely follows the release of its Q2 2024 financial results, which saw the operator report long-awaited profitability, thanks to a net income of $63.8m. Revenue for the quarter also increased by 26% to $1.1bn.

However, the brand still reported a loss from operations, while it has now U-turned on its plans to implement a surcharge for certain US customers; stocks, most recently, are down for the brand.
