The trio of Brian Mattingley, Andrew Burns and Mark Blandford will take up positions with the company known as ‘the football stock market,’ with Mattingley combining the role with that of non-executive Chairman of 888 Holdings.
Burns moves over from Consolidated Growth Limited, a natural resource exploration company, to join as group Chief Financial Officer.
He has worked in the betting and gaming industry at Rank Group and originally qualified with Price Waterhouse as a chartered accountant. He previously held the CFO position at Camec and Empire Online, as well as at Luminar plc.
Blandford moves onto the board as an advisor, having already invested £1.92m ($2.5m) in Football Index.
Adam Cole, Football Index founder and CEO, said: “These board appointments are a real statement of intent for Football Index. We are adding a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience from the betting and gaming industry and beyond that will be invaluable in helping determine our future strategy and progress.”
