The Arlington facility, operated by the Stillaguamish Tribe, will use IGT’s turnkey solution for retail and on-site mobile sports wagers.
“Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort patrons will be able to experience this new and exciting form of gaming from anywhere on our property, thanks to IGT’s omnichannel PlaySports platform,” said Travis O’Neil, CEO of the Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort.
“IGT’s comprehensive PlaySports solution, paired with the company’s extensive experience and expertise, will enable us to offer a world-class sports betting operation for many years to come.”
The company’s PlaySports platform, which it bills as an “end-to-end solution [that] is optimised for the US market and offers maximum flexibility”, is already in use by several other tribal casinos across the US, as well as with many non-tribal operators.
To date in 2021, three other Indian-run operations have selected the PlaySports platform as their go-to retail and mobile sports betting solution, with the Oneida Casino in Wisconsin being the most recent operator to leverage the solution when it finalised an agreement with the company on 2 September.
“As the leading choice for US operators to power their sports betting enterprises, IGT PlaySports is thrilled to add the Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort to our growing list of customers,” said Enrico Drago, CEO of IGT Digital & Betting.
“Our proven all-in-one PlaySports technology was designed to offer maximum flexibility for operators of all sizes to seamlessly establish exciting sports betting programs.”
This will be one of the first major supply agreements overseen by IGT’s new Digital & Betting business segment, which was formed on 8 September.
