Mediterranean Poker PartyListen To Article

The Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP) is set to return from 2 May to 12 May 2024. The event will be held at the Merit Royal Diamond and Spa in Northern Cyprus.

The recently released core schedule features an array of events, including new additions, qualifiers and player package options.

The live schedule showcases various high-stakes tournaments, including the MPP Main Event which runs from 6 May to 12 May and features a $5m guaranteed prize pool.

Players keen on securing their spot in these tournaments can participate in online satellites across the GG Poker Network – a scheme that hopes to provide ample opportunities for qualification.

Noteworthy additions to the qualification options include the ‘Flight to MPP’ packages, priced at $10,000. These packages cover an eight-night luxury stay for two at the Merit Crystal Cove Resort, including entry into both the EAPT Grand Final and the MPP Main Event.

Players can alternatively explore $5,300 packages that include an eight-night stay for two at the Merit Crystal Cove Resort, encompassing entry into the Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty and the EAPT Grand Final.

Doron Ziony, Business Development Director of DTD Events, commented: “We have made some tweaks to the schedule and we are excited to see the new Online Flight to MPP on the GG Poker Network which offers players the chance to qualify for both the MPP Main Event and EAPT Grand Final in one hit.”

Songul Bekem, President of Merit Poker, added: “The schedule for the MPP is looking great and we are very pleased to see the range of qualification options. As ever, we endeavour to give customers the chance to qualify for events for a fraction of the cost through live mega satellites.”

The last MPP, held in September 2022, saw Hannes Jeschka securing victory in the Main Event and Tony G emerging triumphant in the MPP High Roller.
