Chicago Bulls at Houston Rockets
- Leg 1: Amen Thompson Over 12.5 Points (-125)
- Leg 2: Amen Thompson Over 8.5 Rebounds (-120)
- Leg 3: Nikola Vucevic Over 11.5 Rebounds (-135)
Alperen Sengun’s injury has given the Rockets an entirely different look. One name to step up in his stead has been Amen Thompson. He has rejoined the starting five, and over his last three games has put up Points/Rebounds lines of 20/11 (27 minutes), 18/8 (26), and 25/10 (32). When he has played 26+ minutes, Thompson has averaged 15.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Across this filter, he has nine or more rebounds in nine of 13 games, and 13+ points in nine of 13 as well.
With the new-look, small-ball lineup that Houston is running with, Nikola Vucevic should have an easy time racking up the rebounds in this one. I highly doubt we see much of Andre Drummond in this one because of this small-ball, pace-up starting five the Rockets have right now too. For what it’s worth, Vucevic had 15 rebounds against Houston back on January 10th.

Sacramento Kings at Washington Wizards
- Leg 1: Domantas Sabonis Over 14.5 Rebounds (-130)
- Leg 2: Domantas Sabonis Over 21.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Deni Avdija Over 16.5 Points (-120)
Tread lightly in this one with the 11-point spread separating these two teams. With that being said, this is a back-to-back for the Kings, who are just 4-7 against the spread when they play without rest. If that trend holds, Washington should be able to keep it close enough for the majority of the game and give us plenty of stat padding throughout. Both teams are up-tempo, with Washington first in pace, and Sacramento 12th, hence this theory.
The Wizards always cede rebounds to big men. They have allowed the most rebounds to opposing Centers on the season, and most over the last 30 days as well. Even at this lofty 14.5 total, Sabonis, the NBA leader in rebounds, who is averaging 13.7 per game, should be able to go over this mark. He has 15+ boards in seven of his last nine games averaging 16.7 across this span.
Washington also allows the most points per game to Centers. That rate has more or less maintained across the last 30 days, as they have permitted the third most over this span. Sabonis has scored 21+ points in five of his last six games averaging 23.5 points. He had 28 points and 13 rebounds against them earlier this year and should be able to post a similar stat line against them in this one.
The home team will be playing shorthanded in this one, without two starters Tyus Jones and Marvin Bagley III. Deni Avdija is questionable to suit up in this one too, but if he does go, he should put up some points in this one. The Kings are allowing the fourth most points to opposing Small Forwards and Avdija has been on a scoring tear more recently. Over his last 15 games, he has put up 16+ points in 10 of them while averaging 18.9 points per contest.
