Playing.io sponsored a charity football game featuring a host of Brazilian football stars and celebrities. Playing.io is a blockchain iGaming website that was recently launched in Brazil, with gaming and sports betting options on its website.

Brazil is a rapidly growing gaming market and Playing.io aims to become a global leader in online betting. As part of the sponsorship, Playing.io promised to convert every ticket sold into one kilogram of food to be donated to the Tottenham Food Bank.

The game took place in Dagenham on Monday this week. Despite the professional football season having just come to an end, there was no rest for some big-name footballing stars. One of the teams was captained by Tottenham Hotspur player Emerson Royal. However, the Premier League star lost 8-5 to a team captained by Brazilian influencer Luva de Pedreiro.

The high-scoring game resulted in 5,000 kilograms of food supplies being donated to the Tottenham food bank.

There were several other Brazilian players in attendance at the event, such as Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison, Arsenal Sporting Director Edu Gaspar, Aston Villa’s Douglas Luis, Watford’s Luigi Gaspar, Sheffield United’s Fernandinho and Nottingham Forrest player Emmanuel Dennis. The rest of the players at the game were made up of a variety of Brazilian influencers including Negrete, Big G and Felipe Araujo.
