Parent company Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, which also owns Pennsylvania-based Parx Casino, has selected Playtech to power the updated app, housing both the casino and sports betting element in one offering.
Playtech’s Information Management Solution (IMS) allows operators full visibility of the player lifecycle, ensuring they can better meet the needs and expectations of customers, depending on their gaming preferences.
Playtech and BetParx previously partnered in February 2021, launching the Play Gun Lake app in Michigan.
Mor Weizer, CEO, Playtech, commented: “We are thrilled to continue to grow Playtech’s iGaming and sports betting partnership with BetParx in other US markets. Playtech’s software and expertise provide a high-quality customer experience, and this is exactly what the highly sophisticated consumer market in the US requires.
“We look forward to further expanding our footprint in the US and working with BetParx to deliver gambling and sports betting entertainment across multiple states and products.”
The relaunched app also features a number of Playtech’s gaming titles, including a portfolio of content from Playtech Origins and Rarestone Studios.
Matthew Cullen, SVP of iGaming and Sports, BetParx, said: “We are incredibly proud to be launching BetParx in conjunction with an industry-leading technology provider in Playtech. We’ve made the sign-up, deposit and cash-out processes as simple and smooth as anything in the industry.
“Plus, we’ve created a product that ensures a great experience to any user, casino or sports. We invite everyone to download and play BetParx.”
Playtech is now licensed and operational in three US states, with Michigan adding to Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
