PrizePicks has announced it will become an official fantasy sports partner for Nascar, the motorsport event held in the US.
The multi-year partnership will support the Nascar fantasy offering that was released on the PrizePicks platform in 2021, which has seen a 400% increase in activity within the past 12 months.
Fans can compete against each other to earn Fantasy Score gained by selecting plays from the fastest laps, laps led, cars passed and the starting position of drivers.
Adam Wexler, PrizePicks Co-Founder & CEO, said: “We’ve always taken great pride in the fact that a great deal of our marketing and partnerships remain true to our southern roots.
“Working with NASCAR is the best of all worlds, an organisation based in the South with a national footprint that is consistently growing on our platform.”
PrizePicks will receive a VIP presence at several Nascar events during the 2023 season, including the next Nascar Cup Series Geico 500 held at Talladega Superspeedway on 23 April.
Joe Solosky, Managing Director at Nascar, said: “PrizePicks has consistently shown itself to be a fantasy platform with a loyal fanbase and wide variety of sports offerings.
“This partnership is an opportunity for both organisations to expand and increase engagement with new and existing fans.”
Nascar is the most recent sports-based addition to PrizePicks’ partnership catalogue, with the Atlanta Braves rekindling its partnership with the fantasy sports company earlier this month.
Additionally, Major League Soccer team Atlanta United announced a partnership with PrizePicks at the end of March.
