TheLotter Australia has expanded its offerings with the launch of a new mobile app for iOS and Android devices. This development aims to complement the company’s existing website, providing Australians with a way to participate in major international lottery draws.
The new app offers users access to a wide variety of global lotteries. Commenting on its launch, Piers Morgan, Director of theLotter Australia, stated: “With theLotter Australia app on their phone, local players can take a chance at the biggest jackpots worldwide in just a few clicks.”
The app also offers commission-free winnings – after the deduction of relevant taxes – and customised jackpot alerts for preferred lotteries.
Another notable feature is that the app allows users to fill out numbers for games like PowerLuck, which are then matched to official entries such as the US Powerball by third-party agents on behalf of the player – a feature that aims to bridge the gap between local participation and international lotteries.
Regarding winnings, theLotter Australia provides notifications to successful players. Prizes valued at $600 or less are directly deposited into the user’s account. For larger winnings, the company supplies the physical ticket required for claiming the prize.
Earlier this month, theLotter also launched in Florida – a move that allows Floridians to order tickets for their lottery games online. Shortly prior to this development, the company had already expanded to New Jersey – where it is an official lottery courier service – and New York.
